ABOUT COURTNEY COCHRAN, Herbalist, Bodyworker, Acupuncture Student

Courtney Cochran (they/them) comes to massage therapy and bodywork with years of experience as a clinical herbalist and many more as a social worker and community organizer. Courtney has run Alseth Acres Apothecary & Herb Farm with their partner for 8 years and GlitterMoss is their next adventure in community caretaking. Alseth Acres herbal products are a key feature of our services with local, farm made products avaible to integrate into your care.

Courtney graduated from the Professional Massage Academy in St. Cloud Minnesota and has additional training via Zen Shiatsu and Heartwood Institute. Additionally, Courtney has extensively studied Western herbalism with course work qualifying them as a Clinical Herbalist. Courtney is currently a student of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine at The American Academy of Health & Wellness. 

Courtney brings together bioregional herbalism, Traditional Chinese Medicine, therapeutic massage, and more than a decade of experience in trauma-informed care to carefully craft a space of warmth, body liberation, and joy. Courtney comes with a deep commitment to community that centers on 2SLGBTQIA+ liberation, trauma and grief tending, sacred safe spaces, and disability justice.
